5 Internet Marketing Solutions

We have been doing the whole internet marketing thing for over a decade now, and get asked internet business questions all the time. Whether it’s at live events or via Facebook or another social media platform, it’s a fairly constant thing. A short while ago, I spent over 2 hours answering questions on a call and realised that most of the questions I get asked are the same exact ones. Here is an internet marketing solutions guide.

Assuming you may have some of the same questions, I thought it would be cool to post answers to the 5 internet marketing queries I hear most often.

What is the best way to get traffic?

This is probably the question that frustrates me most. It’s normally asked like the answer should be a one word response. The truth is that this is an incredibly complicated question with an equally complicated answer. The short answer is that every product or service will have a completely different best source of traffic.

The best source of traffic would provide you with the perfect customer. Someone that not only wants what you sell, but has a desperate need for it. This traffic source should provide you with not just customers, but raving fans that love you and want to buy EVERYTHING you sell.

To find this elusive customer, the first step is to identify them. You need to know exactly who they are. You need to speak directly to their situation. Your marketing, sales messages, and any other forms of communication you use need to focus on them.

The first step to identifying them is to think about where they go and use those websites to figure out more about them. Quantcast can be a gigantic help with this if a site has been “quantified”. I’ll use TMZ.com as an example:

This helps with language you should be using, the nature of your sales messages (if they’re spending time on TMZ, it would be helpful to match the type of messaging they use), and gaining a better idea of who you serve.

Once you’ve identified them, you need to find them. Alexa.com will give you ideas. It’s owned by Amazon and they have a ton of data they’re willing to share with us. Throw your primary competitor’s URL into Alexa and they’ll provide you with data including what sites are referring traffic their way, what sites link to them, and similar websites. Some of those sites may offer advertising options or accept content that they’ll post to their audience for you.

Once you have this data, it’s time to start testing strategies. The first choice is whether you want organic traffic (free) or paid traffic (costs money). If you’re starting with little money to spend on advertising, organic traffic is going to be your obvious choice. If you have a budget, paying for traffic provides instant visitors. Either way, you choose to risk money or time.

Finally, get to testing out different strategies. I can’t dictate where to start or where you’ll finish. The path you choose to take makes no difference. It will take time and testing to get it right and find your traffic “holy grail”. Never give up and if something doesn’t work it’s just a test that didn’t work out. Keep at it and you’ll find the one that works best for you, your skills, and your audience.

Internet Marketing Solutions Guide to; Why doesn’t my website rank in Google?

Again, super complex question with a long list of possibilities. It’s nearly impossible to give a precise answer without seeing the website in question. Instead, I’ll give you a few things to consider that will help you fix the problem:

Is your on-page SEO setup right? This is where ranking in Google begins and if you do it wrong, it can be where it ends, too. Images should be named accurately and with keywords where appropriate. Pages should be named accurately and with keywords where appropriate. Titles should be accurate and contain your keywords where appropriate. Highlighting should be natural and focus as much on conversion as SEO. Notice a common thread here? Your best bet is to focus on creating a great page.

Is your site socially viable? Are people spreading around your content? Is your website valuable enough to your audience that they recommend it to others? If not, you need to figure out how to make that happen. The easiest way to do that is to create solutions to any barriers that would get in the way of people buying from you. That’s the same type of content that gets shared.

Are you getting the right links pointing to your sites? Socially viable content will also generally attract links just for being awesome. Building links for the sake of building links is a dead process. Article marketing, press release marketing, and things like blog commenting as a way to drive links is a bad idea. Instead focus on getting quality links from quality sources. The more authority links you get the better.

Is there a penalty against your website? If you have had your website for more than 2 or 3 years, odds are you used some very “old school” link building strategies that are now frowned upon. If that’s the case, you’ll want to develop a list of the old style links and use Google’s disavow tool.

Are you a trend chaser? If so, I’m guessing that your business is nearly nonexistent…

Trends can be great traffic sources, but a very low percentage of the “big things” you try are going to pan out into real businesses in the end. I’ve been testing some automated Amazon affiliate products for over a year. I’ve made roughly double what I’ve spent on the products, but barely. Also remember that I have a far deeper knowledge base than most people…

Fulfilled by Amazon products, Autoblogs, Blog networks (private and public), Kindle publishing, T-shirt selling, and who knows what else. Any trend is going to be a goldmine to a small percentage of people. For most, it will simply be a massive waste of time.

Instead of worrying about trends, find an audience to serve, products and services they want AND need, and a unique selling proposition that speaks to the specific group of people you’re looking to serve. Not only will you be a lot happier, the odds of you succeeding go way up.

Once you have that sorted out, figuring out a way to take advantage of new opportunities and feed any new customers into your current sales systems is worth trying.

Why aren’t people buying the stuff I sell?

This problem is based upon two main issues:

Crappy offers AND Message to market match. Either of the two will kill any chance of making sales.

Your message is the core of what you’re selling. It’s needs to be convincing to your audience and should enter a conversation they’re already having with themselves.

In my personal experience, the sales copy I think will perform best is almost never the best performing. The key is to test everything. The offer the headline, the bullets, the close, the post script.

Let your audience tell you what they need to hear to buy what you sell. Test EVERYTHING.

If your message is wrong, change it.

If you can afford it, hire a copywriter. If you can’t afford the best, ask one of them for one of their students. You’ll get insight into your messaging from one of the best at a drastically lower expense.

When you have a bad offer, nobody will buy what you’re selling. If it isn’t working, change it.

Why aren’t I Succeeding?

Only a few percent succeed at this internet business thing. Instead of telling why you’re not getting into that small group, I’ll tell you a few things you need to get there:

Persistence – It’s good to know when to give up or stop wasting time on something, but the moment you give up could be the moment you’re about to break through. It’s a delicate balance, but you’ll be better served by sticking to a project until you make it work than giving up on it. This applies to traffic strategies, too. If you aren’t making it work, figure out how to make it work and then, MAKE IT WORK.

Discipline – This is the one that gets me most often. You have to force yourself to get things done. Not just anything, but the right things. My solution to this problem is to break down a project into the smallest possible pieces. A sense of accomplishment will usually be enough to drive me to finish things up and instead of focusing on the end result I’m working towards, I do better when focusing on each small piece.

Value – Are you providing measurable value to your customer? If so, how? Identify this and it makes it easier to sell your products and services, too.

Differentiate – “Me too” products and services die every day. Most of them should. Do something to make yourself different from your competitors. A crazy guarantee, personalised service, better bonuses… Do whatever you can to be different in the eyes of your customers because that’s what will get them to come back.

Passion – Do you love what you’re doing? If not, stop. Find a way to make money doing what you love and it becomes a pleasure to do the work. It stops being work.

Secrets Of Network Marketing

life-u-want

If you feel unsatisfied with your line of work, or that there is a better way of making a living because you have more to offer then the good news is that there is a better way, but it is very different from what you learned in school it is known as Network Marketing.

Network marketing can be summed up as a business opportunity for those with limited time on their hands. People that would love to make a full-time living at a part-time level. Some of the best-known companies in the world like Avon and Tupperware fall under the network marketing umbrella.

imagesBelow you will discover the 9 time-proven secrets used by top money earners in the industry today.

1 – Network Marketing Professionals Know Their Target Market

You MUST understand your audience best suited for your small business opportunity. You must be in touch with their needs, there inner most desires for change. You must know what drives them to want to better their life.

Knowing the people that would like to lead a different, more satisfying life will help you succeed in network marketing.

2 – Have Your “Why” Established.

This is very important. This is your major driving force, your reason WHY you decided to make a move and become a network marketer. It could be family, financial freedom or even time freedom. Make sure it is strong and you have it written down in a place that you can look at it on those days when speed bumps seem to appear around every corner.

If your ‘Why’ isn’t big enough to keep you driven, then I am sorry to let you know, statistics state that the chances of you continuing on are NOT in your favour.

3 – Network Marketers Do NOT Chase Family and Friends.

One of the first things that most network marketing companies have you do, when you join them, is ask you to create a list of ALL your family and friends so you can reach out to them with your home-based business opportunity. This list of names is known as your warm market.

The worst thing you could ever do for your personal life and friendships would be to make your future meetings awkward. It is suggested to leave your friends and family approach tucked away, for just a little while, at least until you understand proper network marketing prospecting and recruiting better (if you have the support and backing of an experienced network marketer there with you, then go for it).

To make it clear, DO NOT EVER chase, beg, guilt or even attempt to convince anyone, especially your warm market to join your opportunity. When you decide the time is right and your approach is warranted, it is suggested by the network marketing pros to see if your family or friends are open to your home-based, small business opportunity.

The network marketing professional will never chase their family members or friends attempting to convince them that this is the best opportunity to cross their paths since the invention of the wheel.

4 – Choose ONLY a Couple of Marketing Strategies to Master at a Time.

Don’t overwhelm yourself with trying to accomplish too many marketing projects at one time. Like any network marketing business, there is a learning curve to overcome, so be patient and hang in there. It is common-place to get discouraged, but your success will be won through tenacity and perseverance.

See what other successful network marketing pros are doing and learn from their successes. Doing this will cause you to begin mimicking the way that the successful marketing professional acts or thinks. Ultimately, doing this can lead to a higher success rate overall.

Tip 1 – If you encounter a road block along the way, don’t try to deal with it yourself, contact your upline for help.

5 – Personal Development – NEVER Stop Educating Yourself.

YOU must put in the time to work on yourself daily. The top leaders and top income earners in today’s network marketing world are also top learners. These network marketing professionals are avid readers with a daily ritual of self improvement. If you were to research any of these leaders, you will discover that they have a sizable bookshelf of accomplished reading.

Simply put, if you take a look at any one who’s made any significant amount of money in this network marketing industry, you will be assured that they work on their personal development daily and have the library to back it up.

Tip 2 – If you want to see significant growth from your network marketing efforts, you must constantly improve your knowledge. Read success books, research the Internet for social media strategies along with network marketing tips. Plus, any other topics to position yourself to be successful.

6 – Include Social Media in Your Everyday Business Activities.

Are you still skeptical about the power of social media marketing to aid in the increased the exposure of your business? It has been stated that social media may soon drive MORE traffic to your website than SEO.

If your online business does not have a social media program in place to help spread the word about your business, then you are missing out. The basis of any good marketing strategy would be to include social media in your daily business activities. There are many locations to begin the building of your business relationships, one good place to start would be to focus on Facebook groups within your niche.

7 – Network Marketing Professionals Stay Consistent.

Consistency in network marketing is a must. Create a plan, write it down as a To-Do List and remain consistent. You MUST be consistent in your actions, without actions on a consistent basis, your business will fail.

When posting content, consistency is key. Not only for better SEO rankings with the major search engines, but when your followers see you posting at a certain time, they come to expect it. If you want your followers to remain loyal, you MUST remain consistent.

Even if you are not seeing the results that you want in your network marketing business, don’t give up. Some days will be tougher than others… keep in mind that virtually every network marketing pro had thoughts of doubt at one time or another, but they kept pushing on, which brings me to my next tip.

8 – Do NOT Ever Quit!

The ONLY way you can ever fail in network marketing is by quitting. This might sound cliche, but it is true. The successful network marketing professional’s of today at one time or another, had thoughts of quitting but didn’t, and that’s why they are where they are now TOP INCOME EARNERS!

Network marketing does take time, but be assured the Results WILL SOON Follow!

9 – Network Marketers MUST Provide Value to Their Prospects.

We as network marketers are in the people business “People Don’t Join a Business, They Join YOU!”

I’m sure that there is someone in your life that you like, trust and look up to. If this person were to say to use a particular product that will help you shed those last few unwanted pounds, wouldn’t you give it a go if you were told it would accomplish what you desire?

To get to the point one important way to build trust from your readers would be to provide value-based content that your audience can benefit from. Providing this worthwhile information will create a spellbinding magnetism causing your audience to develop a thirst for more. This action alone will build trust and in turn your readers will begin to like you and look up to you as an authority in your niche.

Over-Deliver as it is said in the network marketing world. If you’ve heard of attraction marketing, you will know that one of the rules that attraction marketing is based on is value, to over-deliver beyond the readers expectations.

In Closing.

The fact that you are reading this article indicates to me that you are researching for any and all means to grow your small business, and I applaud you. Do not take any of these secrets of the marketing pros lightly, every tip mentioned here is grounds for greatness.

keep in mind these marketing tips will not create a windfall of prospects/leads. Most of the network marketing pros had a record of monumental failures in their business before they finally stumbled across something that worked for them.

WP Link Shield

Below is a review of a new product called WP Link Shield. It is a tool that will save you 60% in lost sales through stolen commissions.

A major bug has been found in almost all available link cloakers, the problem is they break responsive websites! WP Link Shield found that every single link cloaker tested broke responsive sites.

WP-Link-shield-review-compressed

Bear in mind that 60% of us use mobile devices nowadays, that is a massive problem and a huge amount of profit lost.

If you are not cloaking links you aren’t safe either , you’re leaving up to 30% of sales on the table through, affiliate theft, browser switching and social blocking…

WHAT IS THIS BUG EXACTLY?

There are two main cloaking modes

1 REDIRECT CLOAKING – this is most common type – you get a new URL and it redirects to the original URL – problem here is… this does not hide your affiliate ID and you lose money if the user switches browsers or shares the raw link

2 IFRAME CLOAKING – with this way the URL never changes and the destination page is loaded in an IFRAME – so your affiliate ID is never exposed and you do not lose cash through browser switching…
Iframing is great for affiliates as you can overlay messages, you can kick exit pops – it gives you a lot more control and reduced commission losses
However the makers of cloaking tools have never looked at what happens when users open responsive websites in iframe mode – the answer is RESPONSIVE SITES BREAK!

This boils down to BAD CODING …

10 Best Online Tools Available for AB Testing Conversions

What are the best tools available online for AB testing conversions?

1. Unbounce

When creating a new landing page, Unbounce is great for any company’s go-to for AB testing conversions. It is quick, gets the job done, and the analytics are actionable. It has a confident accurate score rating, which tells you how likely a good conversion rate is, or whether it is mere luck.

2. Visual Website Optimizer

In creating a landing page, I installed Visual Website Optimizer for AB split testing, and because of this software, I also discovered a new variation that increased my conversions over 62.5 percent higher than any previous control. It’s easy to install and track metrics.

3. MailChimp

Email marketing can potentially be helpful with traffic and attracting conversions; however, a lot of factors come into play when determining a successful campaign. In MailChimp, you can AB split test the send time, subject line, email content and even the name that appears as the sender. You can test different metrics, see what works best and tailor your marketing efforts.

4. Optimizely

Optimizely has a super easy-to-use interface for creating A/B test experiments and an easy-to-read admin interface that shows the results. I’ve used many other A/B testing tools that were very complex to use and impossible to understand when it came to the actual results. This toold removes all the stress and is easy to follow.

5. Split

Quite a lot of businesses rely heavily on the Ruby on Rails plugin called Split. It allows you to heavily customise the AB testing you are doing. If you have good developers, I’d recommend customising a plugin to your unique needs as opposed to relying on third-party software.

6. Crazy Egg

Crazy Egg is a tool for AB testing of landing pages, squeeze pages or home pages to determine how users move about the page. This is extremely insightful when trying to understand why customers don’t follow through on a conversion because it reveals which links are not being clicked and that users may not be navigating about the page in the way you think they are.

7. Monetate

Monetate lets you launch campaigns with more than one page, and it comes with a comprehensive set of performance analytics. Campaign segmentation is available, and editing your test pages is simple.

8. KISSmetrics

I use other split-testing tools, such as Optimizely, but KISSmetrics is a must if you’re serious about getting accurate results. The problem with many of the tools out there is they don’t measure the impact of the test throughout your entire funnel. That’s why I love KISSmetrics; it will show you exactly what the impact is for a test at every step of the buying process (not just the next step).

9. Google Analytics

Google Analytics now offers “experiments,” which allow you to split-test a multitude of pages at once. If you already use Google Analytics, as most of us do, these tie into your existing stats and goals perfectly. The depth of data is fantastic. Plus, it’s easy to set up and free.

10. Qualaroo

It’s easy to test anything on your site. But how do you know where to focus your AB testing efforts? Most people test button colors when they have bigger problems in the user funnel. That’s why we like Qualaroo. It’s a great way to find out from your website visitors where confusion exists in the conversion funnel so you can focus your testing efforts there to get the biggest wins.

Click Webinar offers you enough features to help you make the most of your online seminar, without cluttering your screen with unnecessary items. This webinar service allows you to use any browser that you like to connect to your meetings, as well as giving you the ability to record your meetings for future viewing. Click Webinar also offers the ability to conduct polls during your meeting, which can be helpful for encouraging interactivity.

This webinar service will allow you to record your meeting, which will allow those who were unable to join the conference to see what they missed. Having the option to record your online seminar can also work to your advantage for creating training material for others to watch. It also is a great way to share the meeting with people that may be in different parts of the world and in a different time zone.

This webinar service also allows you to create different polls and gather the results. This is something that can work well if you are in need of people’s responses during your online seminar. It is also something that is helpful to have when trying to narrow down the list of ideas that have been gathered during a brainstorming session.

In order to get into your webinar with Click Webinar, you enter a password. This allows you to feel more confident that your meeting is secure. They also allow you to privately chat with members of your audience. This is an important feature to consider because it can help a minor misunderstanding from becoming a larger problem. One of the features we really like about their chat feature is the ability to translate languages. If your preferred language is English but you are having a discussion with someone who speaks Polish, both of you can enter your information in using your preferred language and it will be translated correctly into the other person’s language. This will practically remove the language barrier.

Click Webinar offers you the ability to design your meeting room so it’s customized for your own company. You have the option to add your company logo to your meeting room as well as the lobby. You also have the flexibility to add your company colours and graphics to these rooms. This is sure to impress those who are attending your webinar.

Because this webinar service will work with any browser, you will not have to worry about downloading any software on to your computer. This also means you don’t need to worry that your system is up to date and running smoothly before joining or moderating your webinar. Your participants will also be grateful they don’t have to waste time downloading new software onto their computers. This should almost entirely remove the need for tech support during webinars. They also offer a mobile app so this application is more widely available to your audience on their mobile devices.

We like the toggling views feature that comes with this webinar service. This feature allows you to upload and share several different views of the document you are working on. Switching to a different view is as simple as choosing a different tab, as if you were using a multiple-tab web browser. This feature is great for those times when you are trying to illustrate a proposal to your audience and want them to see different options.

This webinar service is simple to use. They offer an intuitive interface that allows you to share exactly what you want the audience to view. As long as you have a webcam, you can allow the audience to view you as the moderator while also sharing your computer screen. A presentation is much more engaging to participants when they can see the presenter’s face.

Scheduling an online meeting with Click Webinar is quick and easy to do. Once you log into your account you have the option to start a meeting immediately or set up a future meeting. Once you enter in the start and end times of your online meeting, you are ready to go. You will also have the opportunity to log in and prepare your documents for the meeting before allowing other participants to join. You can do all of these things with just a click of the mouse.

This webinar service offers a great section of help and support options. They have an ample FAQs page that will answer questions ranging from the basics of getting started with this service to the more complex items regarding communication problems. Additionally, they have tutorial documents that you can download that will explain the ins and outs of this application.

We also like that this webinar service offers tutorials to help you use their product to your full advantage. They are also prepared to have a member of their IT team join your conference remotely, if you are experiencing difficulties that you are unable to fix.

Summary:

Click Webinar online meeting service comes with great features for anyone who is planning to host an online meeting. Because it allows you to create a custom look in the meeting room and the lobby, you can impress all of the audience members who join your meeting. Additionally, your meeting will be user-friendly because your participants will not have to download any extra applications in order to join your meeting. Because this software is browser based and works with all browsers, you do not have to download any special software for this application, which will save you time.

Small Business Webinar Tools

When combined with great resources, useful downloads, and soft sell approaches, webinars offer a way to engage prospects and customers at a higher level.

Here are a few webinar services for you to consider.  Most of these define meetings differently from webinars, in both number of participants and pricing,  so if you simply want to run an internal meeting with remote users there are affordable options within this set of providers.

imagesMost of these offer the ability for you to present from a video camera (web cam) or just from your computer microphone via VOIP or via a regular phone. Most do not recommend calling in from a cell phone if you’re the presenter/moderator.  All of these allow you to share your screen, which is usually at the core of any webinar presentation.

The first five are the well-known heavy hitters in the webinar platform world.  They offer a track record and stability that you have to admire, but if you happen to need other options, we include 21 more.

Joint Venture Formula

imagesHere are some advantages of joint venture partnerships and how to JV correctly. Joint venture agreements can be profitable. Here are some tricks to increase your business profits.

So what exactly is a joint venture and why does it help?

Firstly you can achieve common goals with other businesses by leveraging existing resources. Everything you need is already available. You don’t need to spend your money to go get it. All JVs do is leverage common goals in a win, win way.

What you need is already available. A lot of small business people think they need to go it alone. But what you need is already out there it is about working together and understanding that together with other businesses you can do amazing things.

The main advantages of joint venture agreements is that you can do your marketing with no list and no money. 20% of large companies like Sony and Pfizer’s income comes from joint ventures
and 50% of that comes from their competition. So joint ventures are nothing new for big business.

But many small business owners – if they understood how to do JVs – could get over the misconceptions that running a business takes a lot of time and money. There is an alternative to building a business the slow hard way and that is to learn how to strike up strategic alliances with other businesses. Another bonus for business owners and a reason to JV is your failure rate will drop dramatically.

Small business has about a 87% failure rate, but if you learn how to deal with JVs you can reduce that dramatically.

The Power Of Working With Your Competition

Scarcity or abundance? Many new business owners are scared to work with their competition but working with others instead of against is the way people with abundance mentality create abundance. There is more than enough business for everybody.

You will find that working with your competition will increase the value you provide to your customers and increase profits.

You can do JVs with no money, no risk, no capital investment and with a fast turn around with 100% income potential. That is among the top advantages of join venture agreements. Typically there is no cost of sales and it is usually done in a very short amount of time. You also have unlimited income potential because you are not trading your time directly for money.

Let’s say you worked as a consultant. Well a consultant only can work so many hours a day. So there is a limit on the income potential.

When your not selling time you can duplicate and leverage. Also your not limited to one particular business ether. To make it even better anyone regardless of age, background, education and immediate start doing business once they know how to joint venture.

Some Of The Most Common Mistakes

Ego can stop you. Joint ventures are all about solving other people’s problems so it doesn’t matter than your number one in the world in something.

Joint ventures are about solving problems. It is about finding businesses who want to be somewhere and building a bridge to helping them get there. Helping other businesses owners to remove the pain in their lives. And then you are like a tollgate on the bridge and you collect a piece of the action.

Joint ventures are typically commission based so there is no need to worry about getting in a situation where you are over extending yourself.

An Example Of A Joint Venture

There is a story of a chiropractor turned who turned a joint venture in the in the mulch market into $300,000 in the first year.

What he lived in a national forest area and he discovered that pine needles that fell from trees was very good for fertilizer. So he struck a deal with a trucking firm to put up the needles for him for a shared percentage of the revenue. Then he struck up another real with a person who owned an old used car lot that was empty to let him use it as storage for a percentage of the revenue he would make.

Then he went to the national part services and under bid their current fertilizer supplier and sold his needles for a good chunk of change. It is an example of how thinking outside the box can make you some real money.

How To Join Venture & Experience The Advantages Of Join Venture Agreements

Find people with related products or services and find out what they need. Then fulfill that need in exchange for them promoting your product to their customer database for a percentage of the revenue.

If you want to sell more products you need traffic. The fastest way to drive traffic is not to generate it yourself but to get it from people who have it. So go to people who have the traffic and strike a deal. But here are some key points to remember.

The person who controls the traffic is the person with all authority

It has to be a good fit for them. It is important to understand that it is not a hobby for them. It is their life. It is their livelihood. You need to make sure you are professional and you have a
professional system that works. It needs to be organized because other people want to promote companies that are professional and reliable.

Everybody has a price

While they might so no initially you want to provide more and more and more until it becomes a good offer. If someone said no it is simply because your offer is not good enough (your price
was too low or you are not providing enough value). If that is the case you want to offer more than everyone else is offering but make sure you can afford to pay the price (don’t need to do %400) commission. You can simply provide value to them in by helping them solve their needs.

For example you could create some content for them for their membership site. Anything really. It is about finding what they want and then giving it to them. If you do create content for other people get shared ownership so you can put it in your membership site.

Develop A Relationship

The best way to JV is to have a relationship or develop a relationship with other individuals or companies in the market. Leave comments on their blog, send them a message on twitter, buy their product or even try to get an interview with them. You can contact them through support with questions and continue to deepen the relationship.

The goal with the relationship is to make it so that at least see your JV request. And even deeper people are more likely to work with people they know, like and trust. So these are goals as well. But if you do not already know the company or people you want to JV with the real step is to try to develop a relationship at least a bit so you can get them to open and consider your JV request before it gets filtered away.

Negotiating Joint Ventures Partnerships & Business Joint Venture Secrets

He Who Owns The Traffic Owns Has The Power

The first step is to understand whoever holds the traffic is who holds the power. Potential JVs include…

1. People who have Clickbank products
2. PPC experts
3. People who own places where people are or tools they use

The truth is they don’t need to send traffic to your product. Why? There are products similar to yours that they could promote and it is very important to understand. Also, they would make
more promoting their own products so what can you do to get them to promote your products?

Typically they expect something in return (doesn’t need to be a reciprocal mailing). All you need to do is make it worth their time to promote your product and they will.

The truth is people with bigger lists or bigger influence want more than people with smaller influence. Their list (or traffic) is their livelihood and they are protective of their assets.

Try to build a relationship if possible. It’s always easier to land a JV if you have a relationship. If you can develop a relationship your chances to get them to promote increases.

But don’t make people think your creating a friendship just to get them to promote for you. Leave a string of positive comments on their blog or buy their products to get the foot in the door.

Tips For JV Requests

Make it personal and tailor your message. When you make a request tailor the message to them. Use specific examples from their business to personalize your message.

Promote for people without asking for them to promote for you. This can help you get on their radar and it is long term thinking.

Do things for them first if you can. Simply contact someone you would like to do a JV with and ask to help.

Explain what’s in it for them. When your negotiating joint ventures partnerships be very clear about what they will get if they promote.

Offer special discounts. If you allow them to sell your product at a discounted price they will be more likely to promote your product since they can position it as a special deal.

If they say no don’t burn the relationship. If you have developed a relationship with a business and they say no to a JV request don’t ruin the relationship. Maybe it’s just not the right time for them and they can do it later. A no doesn’t mean no forever.

Don’t expect them to do you a favour. A joint venture agreement should be beneficial to all parties involved.

Value people’s time. Don’t waste people’s time. Not only is it rude but it will hurt your chances of future opportunities of negotiating joint ventures partnerships.

Try to find their price or their hot buttons. Find out how you can give value.

A lot of times you can create content for them to give to their members. This can help a busy product owner a great deal. If you decide to give value in the form of content also get shared
rights to it so you can re-purpose that value. The key is to do enough to get them to say yes without having to do more than you bargain.

It is critical to understand that when someone said no it’s just because you didn’t offer enough. So you need to ask yourself “What could you offer that would make someone say yes?”

Integration Marketing Strategy & Small Integration Marketing

This integration marketing strategy has huge results. Make these small integration marketing changes and see your business profits grow! Take a look at these techniques for accelerated growth.

First off, what is “Integration Marketing?”

Integration marketing is a term coined by Mark Joyner, internet marketing pioneer, and it basically means integrating your sales processes in to other people’s sales processes.

Definition of integration marketing taken from “Integration Marketing” by Mark Joyner. The integration of a “Unit of Marketing Value” (a brand message, an offer, a sale, a store, anything that adds marketing impact to your business) into an existing “Integration Point” (inside a “Traffic Stream” or “Transaction Stream”).

For those of us who don’t have a PHd in “unnecessarily complicated talk” that basically means getting your money-making stuff, like sales offers or lead generation, in other businesses’ sales
or customer flow.

Here is an example

Let’s say you sign up to a related business’ newsletter and their confirmation page just said “Thank you for subscribing.” If you were to get your ad on their thank you page that would be an example of a small integration marketing strategy. You might see this type of marketing in different ways, which I will give some profitable examples of later on.

Here is another example of integration marketing to make concept crystal clear.

Have you ever downloaded a program and they ask you… “Would You Like To Download The Mega Spyware Blaster 2000 As Well?” This is another example of one business integrating their
sales process into another’s. What they have done is come to a mutually beneficial agreement, usually based on a revenue sharing agreement, where one company gives another commissions for sales they refer. Now that we know what integration marketing is let’s jump into some technique you can use to increase your profits.

Thank You Page Swaps

This is where when you trade virtual real estate with another person or persons typically on a eNewsletter confirmation page or download page.

You can put someone else’s ad on your thank you pages in exchange for them doing the same for you or you can seek out people who have “dead real estate”, thank you pages with no ads on them, and offer them a percentage of every sale they generate by placing your add on their page. This typically increases their revenue so if you have a compelling offer many people are willing to put your ad on their thank you pages.

Auto Responder Swaps

This is where you put a message or two in your auto responder sequence in exchange for a partner doing the same for you. So whenever someone signs up for your eNewsletter you have a message or two promoting their sign up page and they have the same in their auto responder sequence. This integration marketing strategy makes it so when your mailing list grows so does your partner’s and vise versa.

Cross Sell At Point Of Sale

“Would you like to buy some more?” That’s what you’re asking with this technique!

When someone buys something from you online are they sent directly to their download page? If so you are losing a lot of money. Ideally you want to have an upsell after someone buys from you. You want to give them a chance to buy a higher priced closely related product. If you don’t have another product you can refer them to an affiliated product. You can also find people who don’t have an upsell and get them to use your product as their upsell for an affiliate commission. It’s a win-win integration marketing strategy.

Advertisement On Websites

This technique involves putting your ad on related websites. To get extra cash from this technique you should seek out related websites and ask if they will put your banners on their website in exchange for a commission. You can also do the opposite and find people who are willing to advertise on your website.

Local Flyers

Are there any local business that offer related services? Print out some flyers and give them to your local business to hand out with their sales. Just make sure you track the sales they refer and give them a commission based reward.
